Almost six years after he was removed from office as governor by the appeal court in Benin, proffessor Osarhemen Osunbor recently announced his intention to run for the governorship of Edo state in 2016.
He spoke when youth across the three senatorial districts of the state, on the aegis of Edo vissionary network, honoured him with award of excellence at his Iruekpen country home.
According to him, "as you said in your address, the journey has not ended; and i should make myself available for service as governor of Edo state.
Many group and personalities accross Edo state have been making this appeal to me to make myself available for continnuity. I haveve alWays restrained myself from coming out."
"Because of the honour done to me today, I think it is appropriate for me to tell the people of Edo state that I am willing and ready to come back."
